"Looks nice, but kinda confusing to use"
The app looks good at first, and the graphs are nice to look at, but I kept getting confused trying to find things. Some of the menus feel hidden, and then I’d click around and still feel like basic stuff wasn’t where I expected it to be. It’s not terrible or anything, just a bit confusing, especially when you’re trying to do something simple. I like the clean look, but I really wish it was clearer and easier to navigate.

"Setup was way more annoying than it should’ve been"
Installing GlassWire turned into more of a hassle than I expected. The setup dragged on, and I had to restart my computer twice before it finally seemed like it was working properly. Some of the steps weren’t very clear either, so I kept wondering if it even installed right. When it finally opened, I was just like, what a joke. It felt clunky from the start and definitely wasn’t a great first impression.

"Honestly, way too confusing for me"
I tried to use it, but I just kept getting annoyed. I couldn’t figure out even the basic settings, and every menu felt messy, confusing, and not very user-friendly. It was like I’d click around, get lost, go back, and still feel lost. The settings were confusing, the menus were confusing, and overall it just wasn’t easy to use.

"I found myself checking it way more often..."
I found myself checking it way more often than I expected, which kind of defeated the purpose for me. Compared to other things I’ve used, it just didn’t feel as reliable or consistent. It might work fine for someone else, but for me it ended up being more frustrating than helpful.

"I’ve been using the free version of..."
I’ve been using the free version of GlassWire for a while now, and yeah, they definitely keep some of the nicer features locked away. Can’t really blame them, I guess, but it is a little annoying. Still, it shows me which apps are using the internet and when, which is mostly what I needed anyway. The setup was simple, nothing confusing or weird. For a free tool, it’s been useful

"Not much you can actually customize"
I was hoping I could tweak the alerts and layout more, but the options are really limited. It feels weirdly locked down for something I’m using every day. And whenever I tried to figure out a workaround, the whole experience kind of made me feel like I was being talked down to, like the app already knows best and I should just deal with it. Frustrating overall.

"Reports and history are all over the place"
I bought this mostly for the traffic reports and history, but it’s been frustrating. There are random gaps, totals that don’t make sense, and it just feels like the data isn’t being handled carefully at all. Support takes a while to respond, and when they do, it’s usually just telling me to reinstall instead of actually looking into it. For what it costs, I expected a lot better. I definitely wouldn’t renew

"I’ve been using this app and it’s..."
I’ve been using this app and it’s good for showing which apps are using the internet, which I like because otherwise I don’t really know what’s happening. It makes the privacy stuff easier to notice and understand a bit. The alerts are helpful, but sometimes there is kind of a lot of them, so that part can feel too much

"Pretty stable, just a little heavier than others"
I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s been solid most days, no crashes or weird issues so far. It does feel a bit heavier compared to some competing apps I’ve tried, but I’d rather have something stable than something lightweight that keeps freezing.

"Firewall control isn't too bad"
I can't say it doesn't work, because it does the basic job fine. It's just kinda limited, so don't expect nothing too advanced.

"Costs more than it feels worth"
I tried GlassWire for a while, and yeah, it looks clean and is easy to use, but the price kept bugging me. For what I actually needed, it just didn’t feel like I was getting enough to justify paying for it.
The free version felt kind of stripped down, and once I looked at the paid options, it added up quicker than I expected. If you need all the extra features, maybe it makes sense. I didn’t.

"Data tracking feels totally unreliable"
The data usage tracking is way off, and it’s frustrating. I kept checking it expecting it to be accurate, but the numbers just didn’t match up. Instead of feeling like the app was helping me keep track, it felt like they made it my problem to figure out what was actually going on.

"Good alerts without all the noise"
Caught a weird connection on my PC and showed it really clearly. Helped me block it fast, which was a relief. Just wish setup was a little simpler.

"Good app, licensing was a pain"
glasswire is actually a solid app, I liked using it and the interface is nice enough. no big complaints there really
The annoying part was the paid license stuff. I switched PCs and getting my license working again felt way more difficult than it should have been, like I was digging through emails and settings just to use something I already bought
If you stay on the same device forever maybe it’s totally fine. but for me it turned into a hassle, not awful exactly, just more stress than I wanted

"Super easy to get started"
I’m new to GlassWire, but the help docs made things way easier than I expected. The setup guides were clear, and I was able to find what I needed about alerts, firewall settings, and data usage without having to search forever. It doesn’t feel overly technical either, which I really appreciated. I had everything running the way I wanted quickly. So far, I’m really happy with it

"Good alerts, but protection felt too light"
I liked the network alerts at first because it was helpful seeing which apps were trying to connect. But it felt like a simple thing got made harder than it needed to be. I still had to keep using a separate antivirus and mess with firewall settings just to feel properly protected.
It’s probably fine if you only want to watch traffic, but as actual security it didn’t give me much confidence. For the price, I expected stronger blocking and clearer warnings instead of having to piece everything together myself...

"I’ve been using GlassWire for a..."
I’ve been using GlassWire for a while, and the real-time alerts are useful. I like getting a heads-up right away when a new app connects or starts using data. It does get a bit noisy sometimes with the popups, but support basically told me I could tweak the alert settings and turn off the ones I don’t care about, which helped. Overall, it’s been working well for me
